Receiving Webhooks C# Asp.net

I want to use this for the sole purpose of receiving webhooks from Chargify.

I'm kind of a beginner programmer and I know nothing about webhooks and how to handle them.

It seems like I can inherit OnChargifyUpdate from the Webhookhandler into my own generic handler, but then how do I get the data that is passed so that I can store into database (first name, last name, etc)?

You don't really need the library to receive webhooks, you just need an endpoint for Chargify to through them at. One useful tool is ultrahook which let's you receive webhook events that you can debug on your local computer (localhost) hosted app.

That code you see in the webhook handler is just an endpoint where I show how to validate the signature of the received webhook. I don't get into parsing anything there, or anywhere really yet. I haven't had much luck putting the event payload into a dictionary.
